Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
