The second-hand marketplace Members Express Displeasure Over Sizing Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Earlier, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Experiences
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: earlier, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
